Well, I said I'd keep an eye out if anything else popped up. Here's a little more about Michael Moore.
MSNBC - "Fahrenheit 9/11" distorts the truth
Slate - Unfairenheit 9/11 - The lies of Michael Moore
The Weekly Standard - Michael Moore and Me
Spinsanity - Dude, Where's my Intellectual Honesty?
--------
Basically, Michael Moore is a liar. But there are a lot of people like that is this world, and there are a lot of people who don't know any better that will be swayed by his lies. Such is the power of media.
It will probably be many years before the falseness of his claims are fully found out, and much time, effort, and money will be wasted in pursuing the ideas he presents. Kinda like Koko the gorilla and sign language (News flash - in case you didn't know, Koko's "learning" of language and communication was "stretched" and edited and did not reflect the truth - Koko didn't really learn how to communicate. That didn't stop tons of money being poured into primate sing language research - even today, it persists).
Actually, I've just found that Moore has a history of lying, "creative editing," and misappropriation of reality. There's more than I care to get into here, but he did the same thing in his last two so-called "documentaries" - "Bowling for Columbine" and "Roger & Me." A little eye-opener about "Bowling" is here. Actually, "Bowling" was not even supposed to be eligible to qualify for an academy award for best documentary, because it didn't fit the submission rules. But Hollywood is liberal enough a little thing like that was able to slip by. C'est la vie.
Look it up for yourself if you want to lean more about Moore.

Okay, end on a fun note - check out The Open Video Project - a wonderful collection of true documentaries and historical videos. Quite interesting.

Oh, and btw - just saw Spider-Man 2 today - it rocked - totally suggest it to anyone.
