Coming soon to a Navy ship near you: Rail Guns

Ah, I wish I'd seen these earlier, to post them. I usually reserve stuff like this for my political blog (not often updated), but with the election tomorrow, they're getting top billing, for a little while at least.

Anyway, check these out:
At clubforgrowth.com, an ad by David Zucker
- When indecision is ok
--quite thought provoking
At ifilm.com, a spoof of Farenheit 9/11, called
- Fellowship 9/11
--also thought provoking - tongue in cheek, but it puts things in perspective
As a direct link/download, the controversial John Kerry video
- Stolen Honor - Wounds That Never Heal
--quite interesting
At a Vietnam Vet's personal page
- The History of John Kerry
--there's so much we never know about a person
----------
This was also interesting - taking a critical look at Bush's lies - hmmmm

If you're a gamer, this will interest you.

Quite cool, the work they're doing nowadays

Watch how the computer thinks - Play Chess Against It

Only the essential Latin - updated of course.
To take Nike's catch phrase, "Modo fac."

Relive the 80's - watch Michael Jackon's music videos here
I'd never seen "Thriller" before, but now I have, so I actually know what's going on when I watch "13 Going on 30." Jennifer Garner actually is doing a dance, not having an epileptic fit.

Weird and fun.
TextArc.org - visual representation of texts.
Check out "Alice in Wonderland" - it's a trip.

I can't remember if I linked to them before or not, but they're worthy of a second look either way. You simply must check out Stoneridge Engineering. Shrunken coins and Lichtenberg Figures and Tesla Coils.
Ain't electricity cool!

Talk about a sweet piece of machinery!
You need to check out the Samsung 5-megapixel cameraphone.
Now, the only question is when we'll get them here in the US

Test your retro skills.
I got 12 out of 18 on "Name that Game"

Who'd a thunk it - down in the muck there be "White Gold."
I did the math. That a tidy little sum he just raked in.

From a 1901 magazine:
"How to Defend Yourself with a Walking Stick"

Interesting. See who supported who, finanically speaking, state-by-state.

Nice full (and real) color images of the earth, compliments of NASA.

This is pretty cool - Skyshots.
Give it a moment for the music to load and start playing. Quite nice.
