Surfer dude flabbergasts scientists with new (possible) Holy Grail of physics - Unification Theory:
Like, the universe is one, man...
No, really. I'm not kidding. Seriously. This is not a joke. It even has a name. So does he. Garrett Lisi, and the E8 pattern. Yeah, I know...but at least if this whole physics thing doesn't work out, he's got a cool name for a band.

Wow
My life will never be the same...I have discovered manualism.
Check it out. I suggest starting with the William Tell Overture or the Super Mario Brother's theme.
His name is Jerry Phillips, and his ouvre and info is here. It includes everything from Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror" to Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" to the "William Tell Overture" to Guns 'n Roses "Sweet Child of Mine."
Just amazing.
(In case you're wondering, manualism is playing music with your hands.)

I love random information.
Here are two great articles from one of my favorite sites, Damn Interesting
The first up is titled Amoebic Morality, and is about how single cell organisms can come together and cooperate, even sacrificing themselves for the greater good. Fascinating.
The second is the (true life) story of the origins of Assassins. Almost a thousand years ago, actually.
Have fun reading!

The real world and the virtual get closer to intersecting.
Which car is real and which is in a video game?
(The video game being Grand Turismo 5)

I don't know about you, but to me there's just something inherently wrong with a dolphin sticking you with a hypodermic needle and pumping you full of CO2 so that you die and your body floats to the surface.
Somehow, that's just not right. But, I guess that's better than being killed by a flaming war pig...

Wow - great, honest response to a woman that is looking "to get married to a guy who makes at least half a million a year." Good read. Check it out.
And in the same vein (kind of...in a way) - proof that:
There are no unattractive women
Amazing what a few hours of beauty treatments and makeovers can do.
BTW, this is from a great, often inspirational site called Sonnyradio.com
Explore around a bit, it's got a lot of great stuff.

I love tehnology - just imagine the possibilities with this product:
New plastic is as strong as steel, and is transparent
Very cool.
This is pretty cool too.
Personal home observatories

Intelligent cat door - or "Flo Control" as they like to call it.
Might sound kind of strange, but actually is a pretty cool project.

Wow - Every woman has beauty. The proof is in the pictures.
The question is can she afford to show it. A free makeover can help.
