Now these are some cool spiders. I particularly like the Jewelled Spiders and the Lady Bird Spiders.
Actually, I never knew they existed before I saw them on this page.
This is scary. Bike locks are not really all that safe. Check out this page.
Worse, this very lock is the one I use.
I predict a sudden increase in bike theft across the country as this info gets out if people don't find a new way to secure their bikes.
Some German dude teaching the basics of hacking. Rather interesting.

Okay, maybe I have a strange sense of humor, but I find this immensely funny. Browse the site, but be forewarned, the humor on it is very strange. I don't like all the strips, but every once in a while I see one that tickles my funny bone. Let me know if you do too.

Oh, it is a good day today. Any day I laugh this much, it can't be anything else. Anyway, just found a new site - Jumbojoke.com - it's enough to send you to the hospital with a bellyache. This is one you really have to check out.
Almost everything is good (that I saw), but I particularly liked the "slushpile" files - excerpts from stories people sent in to journals, trying to get them published. Make sure to check them out - Slushpile I and Slushpile II. There's a lot of good stuff though, so browse around.

Check out this site they link to also - forwardedfunnies.com - I particularly liked The Elementary School version of the Bible
:-)
WOW - now these are some nice macro images - I want a camera that can do this - Kenn Wingle Images

Is this too cool or what! Now you can have stamps with whatever pictures you take (or have, as long as they're not copyrighted). You pay a pretty penny service charge, but it is still tre chic. Check it out at - photo.stamps.com

As if they weren't already fast enough. Now we have to deal with Supermice!
(I wonder how long before someone tries to do this with a human...I can see the headline now:
Olympics of 2040 - 100M Record Smashed! Ran in 4.9 seconds!
Moving science one step closer to realizing the (current) fiction of Holodecks, it's CirculaFloor
Add another one to the list of cooltech breakthroughs/inventions. I think I'm going to have to make a page up just for them. Until then, here's aluminum glass
Oh the power of eight pixels, especially when we're talking a Microsoft slip-up
