Researchers at USC develop a 360-degree holographic display
Not perfect by a long shot, but still really cool.
Leave it to Texas...Monster spider web found! - more specifically - "a sprawling spider web that blankets several trees, shrubs and the ground along a 200-yard stretch of trail"

(video here)

Canada also gets in on the giant spiderweb weirdness too. Except they outdid that puny 200-yard stretch, and instead covered 60 acres with web.

Prius vs. Hummer - you wouldn't have guess who would win, enviornmentally speaking - appearances are not everything. But then again, there are better options than either.

The Green Hornet - by Aurelien Poitrimout - seriously, one of the *BEST* fan films I've ever seen - amazing stuff. Somebody, please, get these guys Hollywood contracts.

It might not have the "cool" factor going for it as much as Batman: Dead End does (a batman vs alien vs predator lineup), but the production value is at least as good, and the fight scenes are better.

Definitely, check it out. Check them both out.

(PS - If you want a smaller, faster file for Batman, catch it on YouTube here.)

(PPS - There were a couple other fan vids to catch if you want, but Green Hornet def was the best. But, the origniating page is here.)

I so want one of these: Tesla Roadster
All electric, all amazing -
* 0 to 60 in 4 seconds
* 250 miles to a charge
* 1 to 2 cents a mile
* $80 grand price tag

This is cool. This is revolutionary.

I want one.

He is the ultimate slacker - Kyle MacDonald.
He traded a paper clip for a house - literally.
Of course, there were several intermediary trades in between, but the point is - a paperclip for a house!

This is just nutty - first there were "Snakes on a Plane", and now there's a snake getting married.

Not kidding.

And no, it's not to another snake.
