I've got a game for you - 12 Pixel Heros
Can you guess them all? Somehow I was able to - though a couple truly were guesses. Have fun.

Now this is interesting - Self-heating coffee in a can.
From Wolfgang Puck no less.
Next up, dishes that automatically wash themselves.

Great. Just what we need - Flying Snakes.
(well, it's more of a jump with controlled glide, but still...)

The Xbox 360
Okay, I'm not much of a gamer, but geez, you have to check out this machine - The Xbox 360.
This thing is going to be faster than any computer on the current mrket. We're talking, and I quote, "The systems overall floating-point performance will be 1 teraflop."
Wow.
Want more?
"three symmetrical cores running at 3.2 GHz and a 1 MB L2 cache that can perform 9 billion dot product operations a second."
I'm drooling.
I want a desktop configured like that.

I don't remember if I blogged this yet or not, but if I did, here it is again anyway. It's cool enough to get a second look anyway. I am talking about TNO TPD - GigaPixel Images. There are several floating around on the net now, but this was the first one I ever saw. Amazing what we can do now with cameras.
Another great gigapixel site is the gigapxl.org site. Give it a gander also - more pics there, actually. One of my favs on that site is the pic of the Bixby Bridge at Big Sur. When it gets zoomed in, you can almost make out the logo on the guys shirt - when in the original image said guy wasn't even visible. We're talking zooming in like close to half a mile and still having resolution folks. Amazing stuff.

Flickr is a pretty cool community.
Check out the Transparent Screens photoset someone put together.
Very...inspiring? Well, to me anyway. I know I'll have to try this sometime.

Why Geeks and Nerds Are Worth It...
("It" being dating/falling in love.)
Can I get an Amen?
Wait, can I get an Amen and some female readers?
